Dr. Sabina Jethwani
Dr. Sabina Jethwani has been a resident of Unionville, Ontario for the past 27 years. She has earned both a B.A. in the Liberal Arts and B.S.C. in Biology from York University. In 1996, Dr. Jethwani completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University. She received her post graduate certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in June, 1997. Dr. Jethwani is Board certified and holds a license to practice in both Canada and the United States.. She is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, and the The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Jethwani believes in staying current in her field with the constant pursuit of continuing education courses. She is Invisalign certified and received training in Implant dentistry, Cosmetic dentistry, Endodontics, etc.
Dr. Jethwani was the founder of the Abulcasis Dental Alliance, an organization that enhances professional development for its members, through education and networking and through its various charitable missions overseas. The organization has assisted with treating the marginalized and needy in Africa and Central Asia and has assisted with building capacity through collaboration with institutions in these locations.
Mairi graduated from George Brown College with honors in 2017. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. She enjoys providing care to patients of all ages, but particularly likes working with pediatric patients. She’s passionate about helping every patient reach the best oral health they can, and making every visit a positive one! In her free time Mairi enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors.
Certified Dental Assistant Level 2
Bonita joined the Wishing Well Dental team in March 2018. She has many years of experience working in the Dental field as a Dental assistant as well as helping with front desk.
Bonita received her Preventive Dental Assistant (PDA) Certificate in 1997 with honors from Durham College she also attended George Brown College in 2013 for additional education. Bonita is ODAA certified and member in good standing.
Bonita takes pride in her job and enjoys the many patients she has come to know personally over the years. Bonita feels fortunate to have been given the opportunity in 2016 from the Ontario Dental Association to travel north to help out on a First Nations Reserve in Northern Ontario.
Bonita loves to answer any dental questions you have about treatment to also help you feel more at ease and comfortable during treatment.
Bonita enjoys travelling, going to events during the summer, cycling outdoors and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter, visiting with family and friends.
Amelia received her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certificate in 2013 and began working as a full-time CDA in a general dental practice. She has been working in the dental field for 5 years both as a Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist. She enjoys helping patients feel better about their dental care by providing a calm atmosphere and getting to know them on a more personal level. Amelia enjoys her time with her family and friends as well as hot yoga, hiking and badminton.
